Clickfunnels is a cloud-based funnel builder platform.
Even though the company claims that its software fits all sizes of business eCommerce, consulting, and other industries, in my opinion, it’s not good for e-commerce businesses selling hundreds or thousands of products.
Clickfunnels allows you to build and manage your sales funnels quickly and easily. You can change the funnel step by drag and drop without visiting the landing page and changing the URL.
Like other landing page software, Clickfunnels has a drag-and-drop builder so you can create landing pages fast without tech-savvy or design knowledge.
One of Clickfunnel’s standout features is the “one-click upsell” that allows you to charge customers automatically on the upsell or down-sell page without asking for their information again.
Clickfunnels also comes with a built-in affiliate management system, so you can easily keep track of your affiliates and pay them commissions based on their performance.
Clickfunnels has two option prices: Standard – $97/month and Platinum – $297/month, which comes with unlimited funnels, email marketing software, and affiliate features.

Clickfunnels was founded in 2014 by Russell Brunson and Todd Dickerson. It is a SaaS company under Etison LLC. Clickfunnel software focused on helping ambitious entrepreneurs grow their business online with the sales funnel.
Currently, Clickfunnels has over 100K active users and helps over 250K entrepreneurs build their sales funnel to change their business life. What makes Clickfunnels stand out from others is how simple a process they have to create and build sales funnels.

Pros
User friendly: Many people claim that building sales funnels with Clickfunnels is straightforward. The interface makes it extremely simple for creating sales pages or landing pages for your marketing funnel and publish them.
Easy to setup your sales process: All pages in your sales funnel and marketing tools stay in one place, so you can visualize the funnel steps. It’s easy to add new pages, change the funnel steps, and manager them without any confusion or mistake.
One-Click Upsell: Once customers purchase your core product, it’s time to offer upsells and cross-sells. With “One-Click Upsell” features that automatically charge customers without them resubmitting their credit card details again. This saves time and hassle.
Built-in membership site: Clickfunnels allows you to build membership areas to deliver video training, e-courses, PDFs, and other sensitive information.
Affiliate Tools: Creating your own affiliate program is never easy than before. You could add, and customize the commission plan for different affiliate tiers, run a contest, track affiliate performance without technical knowledge, hire developers or pay for 3rd party software.

Cons
Price: The primary thing that makes people hesitate to use Clickfunnels is the price. $97/month is not a small budget for beginners.
The basic plan feature is minimal: The Clickfunnels basic plan comes with 20 Funnels 100 Pages and 20,000 monthly visits. While this may seem like enough for most businesses, it quickly becomes limiting as your business grows. This is the reason why some people may feel Clickfunnels can be quite costly.
Customer support: Clickfunnels has top-notch support. I never had any issues with it, but the only thing that I hope they improve is their response time. Sometimes, it takes a few business days to get a response from them.
Sometimes the interface is broken: It’s not a big deal but sometimes, your landing page has been down or the interface has broken even a hour.
Clickfunnels Pricing: How Much Does Clickfunnels Cost?
Clickfunnels offers two pricing plans:
Basic: $97/month
Platinum: $297/month
You can try Clickfunnels 14-day for free to test it out before making a commitment. If you decide to pay annually, you’ll also get two months free.
Compared to other options on the market such as Leadpages, Clickfunnels is certainly on the expensive side. However, Clickfunnels is not a landing page builder. It’s a funnel builder which helps your funnels be more effective (and they did a good job).
For me, it’s a great investment.
In general, the difference between the Basic and Platinum plans is the number of funnels, landing pages, and how many visitors you drive per month.

If you’re an agency that creates funnels for clients or freelancers make money by designing and selling their templates, then the Clickfunnels basic plan is really limited.
Verdict: If you’re a newbie, the Basic plan is a great to get started. It includes all of the essential features, such as landing pages, email integrations, and payment processing. The Platinum plan is designed for businesses that have a large budget and need more advanced features, such as affiliate tools, email marketing automation, unlimited pages, and sales funnels.
What is Funnelflix?
Funnelflix is a “Netflix” for entrepreneurs. Just like Netflix, Funnelflix gives you instant access to the latest and greatest online course training from the top marketing minds in the world (Dan S Kenedy, Jay Abraham, Tony Robbins, etc).

Who Should Use Clickfunnels?
Clickfunnels claim that they fit businesses of all sizes, from solopreneurs to enterprises. If you’re in the Clickfunnels group, you can see a lot of success stories from people who are in different types of businesses you can think of:

Authors

No matter the business model, most of them have one thing in common: They want to simplify the process of creating online marketing and sales funnel to convert more visitors to leads and then paying customers. So they can be generating revenue and bring their business to the next level.
Clickfunnels Doesn’t Suitable For?
Businesses have small budgets: If you’re running a small business on a tight budget, Clickfunnels may not be the right solution for you. While it offers a lot of features and can be very helpful in driving sales, it also has a monthly fee that can be relatively expensive ($97/month).

Ecommerce businesses that sell hundreds of products: Clickfunnels is a great tool for businesses that want to increase their online sales, but it may not be the best choice for companies that sell a large number of products.
Clickfunnels is designed to simplify the sales process by providing customers with a streamlined experience. This can be beneficial for businesses that sell a small number of products, but it may not be ideal for businesses that sell hundreds or even thousands of products.
If you’re looking for a highly customized shopping experience, you’ll need to use a different platform like WooEcommerce or Shopify to build your online store.
Who’s not familiar with sales funnel or doesn’t have any plan to use Clickfunnels: Some people come with Clickfunnels because they hear some fake “Marketing Gurus” recommend it as a business opportunity.
Stop!
If you’re not familiar with sales funnels or don’t have any plans to use Clickfunnels, then this tool isn’t for you.
Clickfunnels is designed to help online marketers create effective sales funnels, but it can be a lot of work if you’re not familiar with the process.
The fastest way to learn it is to join the One Funnel Away Challenge or read Dotcom Secrets book. But before you clearly what you’ll do with Clickfunnels, don’t buy it, seriously.
Need more flexibility and customization: If you’re looking for a platform with complete flexibility and customization, then Clickfunnels may not be the best fit. While it offers a wide range of features and templates, it can be pretty limiting if you need to make significant changes to your landing pages.
Instead, you may want to consider using WordPress.
Clickfunnels Honest Review: Take A Look Inside
Now, I’m going to review the most popular features of Clickfunnels, so you can understand how Clickfunnels work correctly.
1. Sales Funnel Builder
First, let’s take a look at how to build a sales funnel with Clickfunnels. The process is actually quite simple. There are two ways to create a sales funnel with this tool:
1.1 - Classic Builder
Inside the Clickfunnels dashboard, click on “Build a new funnel”. From the options that appear, you can choose to use The Classic Funnel Builder – the most straightforward funnel builder for beginners.
When setting up a traditional funnel, Clickfunnels will ask questions about your goals, including:
Collect emails
Sell your products
or host a webinar
You also create custom funnels and set up funnel steps as you want. However, if this is the first time you make a funnel, then there is nothing wrong if you follow the workflow.
Once you complete the process above, depending on your “Goal” and “Type” of the funnel, you’ll have a different number of funnel steps inside the Clickfunnels workspace.
On the left-hand side are the Launch Checklist and Funnel Steps.
The launch checklist is everything required to launch your funnel. Viewing the launch checklist is highly recommended to ensure that your funnel launches with all the basic requirements.
Inside the Funnel Steps area, you can adjust your funnel exactly the way you want. What makes Clickfunnels stand out from other tools is that you can change the step of your funnel easily by drag and drop.
You may don’t think about it! However, it’ll save you a lot of time than usual.
For example, take a look at the funnel bellow
If you want to swap the upsell pages #2 and #3, you will have to visit the upsell #1 page and edit the URL from the upsell pages #2 to #3.
But, with Clickfunnels, you can easily change it by dragging and dropping the funnel step as you want.
Next, looking on the right hand is the landing page for each step in the funnel. You could choose the page template and customize it or build from a blank page.
1.2 - Cookbook Builder Process
The second way to make a sales funnel with Clickfunnels is using the Funnel Cookbook Builder. They provide up to 22 types of funnels and multiple templates that you can choose to get started.

Verdict: The process to create a sales funnel in Clickfunnels is super easy and fast. I highly recommend you use the Cookbook Builder to get beautiful landing page designs.
2. Landing Page Builder
Now, let’s take a look at the Clickfunnels landing page builder. Clickfunnels using drag and drop editor, which helps users build their landing pages quicker and easier.
All page has a structure with four building blocks:

While it sounds complicated, these are the basics you need to understand about creating page designs. (in almost page builder platforms, not Clickfunnels only).
When you’re first learning how to design web pages, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by all the different elements that go into a page. But, after understanding the page structure, you’ll be able to design your own landing pages in no time.

Even though you can create sales funnels easily with Clickfunnels. However, why should you choose Clickfunnels instead of other tools? To be honest, the drag and drop editor is doesn’t new. It may stand out in the past 4 or 5 years ago, but now, tons of page builder software on the market can help you do that at a lower price. Here are a few Clickfunnels elements that will make your sales funnel more powerful
Survey
2 Step Order Form
Order Bump
The survey element in Clickfunnels is a great way to generate leads (Survey funnel). It allows you to create a form with multiple-choice questions, and the survey’s outcome depends on the answer potential customers choose.
This is a great way to collect email addresses from potential customers, and it can also help you determine which product or service is suitable for them. So you can customize your sales message and promote what they need.
Next, if you’ve visited Russell Brunson’s book funnel you can see the 2 step order form. It’s beautiful and essential when you build a book funnel (or Free & Shipping funnel)

By requiring customers to confirm their order on the second page, you can ensure that they are serious about making a purchase.
If the customer fills out Step 1 but not Step 2, you can trigger a follow-up sequence to get them to go back and finish Step 2. This also dramatically increases conversion rates.
The last is the Order Bump element. This feature allows you to create a small box on the checkout page. It is a great way to sell additional products with your main offer. The customer can check a box to add an additional product to their order without entering any additional information.
By the way, the customer cart value has dramatically increased.
Verdict: Creating a landing page in Clickfunnels is so easy. You can quickly build any page in the funnel as you want (building sales pages, checkout pages, OTO pages, etc). They provide hundreds of different elements to choose from and these three elements above are my favorite feature. It’s one of the reasons why I stay with them while their price is higher than others.
3. Funnel Templates
What if you have no idea what a landing page looks like?
For a new user who doesn’t have any experience with the page builder or knowledge about web design then Clickfunnels gives you templates that already have the sections and rows completed, all you need to do is replace the elements with your own!

The company claim that its funnel templates have been tested and are scientifically proven to convert.
I agree with it!
However, some of them seem boring and outdated. (Especially when you build it with Classic builder)
Clickfunnels doesn’t seem to update their templates as often as some other providers.
They also provide modern and beautiful designs, but they put them somewhere outside of your Clickfunnels account.

It would be best if they update their library regularly so that users can always have the latest template that they need. (which match the new changes in their business or product)
Overall, the templates you get inside Clickfunnels are enough to get started, but if you’re looking for something truly cutting-edge, you may want to look elsewhere.
4. Payment gateways
Clickfunnels software allows users to easily create and sell products and services online. One of the key features of Clickfunnels is its ability to integrate with the most popular payment gateways:

Clickbank
Infusionsoft

Recurly
Easy Pay Direct
Clickfunnels basic plan allows you 3 payment gateway integrations while the Platinum plan is 9. There are two types of integration:
API payment gateway: Process payment of our products created within Clickfunnels
3rd party product access: Process payment of products created on external platforms
Keep in mind that, 3rd party product access payment gateways (ie Paypal V1, Clickbank, JvZoo) do not work with OTO steps.
So, that’s why most people use Stripe to take advantage of the most available features.
5. One-Click Upsell
One key element of a successful sales funnel is creating upsell or down-sell products. By offering customers additional products that complement their original purchase, businesses can increase their order values and boost their bottom line.
With Clickfunnels, your customers can buy additional products with just one click.
This feature really useful because it allows you to offer additional products or services to customers after they have made a purchase.
The best part?
Your customers don’t need to provide credit card details again.
6. A/B Testing
A/B testing allows users to test different versions of their funnel in order to see which version converts best. This is an essential tool for any business that relies on conversion-optimized funnels, and Clickfunnels makes it easy to set up and track tests.
Inside each sale funnel step, you can create multiple landing page variations, set how much percent traffic drive in each version, and then Clickfunnels track which version performs best.
7. Sales Funnel Stats
Clickfunnels provides detailed insights into the performance of your sales funnel. The data can help you identify potential problems and optimize your funnel for better results.
The funnel chart is more visually and easy to understand. Their metrics are enough to identify how your funnel performs.
It’s pretty good for beginners but if you’re a more experienced online marketer or if you’re concerned about the data, you may find Clickfunnels’ metrics to be very limited.
For example,
The traffic source (Google, social media, referral, etc)
Tracking who watched your video, how much they watched, and take CTA based on it
etc
The best part is, that you could integrate Clickfunnels with analytic tools or add tracking code from the platform you loved (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Salesforce, etc)
8. Share Funnel
One of the best things about ClickFunnels is the ability to share funnels with other people. With just a few clicks, you can duplicate an entire funnel into your account, which is great if you find someone with a funnel that you like and want to use for your own business.
If you’re an agency, you can simply share the funnel URL with your clients, and it will be automatically set up in their Clickfunnels account. This is a huge time-saver compared to exporting and importing files as other tools required.
As a user, you can also hire a freelancer to build sales funnels for you or buy sales funnel templates on the marketplace and get them into your account with just one click.
9. Integration
Clickfunnels not only gives you an intuitive interface to build an online marketing funnel. The tool can also integrate with the most popular software tools. So you can integrate the tool you loved with Clickfunnels to make your funnel building process even more fun!
Here are some integrations with Clickfunnels that you should visit:
Sendgrid Clickfunnels: is a platform to communicate with customers via mail.
Shopify: is a central e-commerce platform in the world. When combined with Clickfunnels, it will be easier for you to manage your store and marketing strategies geared toward the e-commerce market.
Payment tools: Clickfunnels offers a variety of domestic and international payment methods, giving you more flexibility when selling, especially in the last step: payment.
SMS Clickfunnels: This allows you to connect with customers via SMS. Your marketing campaigns will have an additional helpful channel to reach potential customers.
Zapier: Lets you connect apps, work together, and automate repetitive tasks.
Infusionsoft: A cloud-based marketing tool. With Infusionsoft, you can combine CRM applications and automate marketing activities.
10. Clickfunnels WordPress Plugin
If you have a WordPress website and want to use Clickfunnels pages under your domain name, you can use the Clickfunnels WP plugin. With this plugin, you can manage and adjust your pages in WordPress as needed.
This can be a great way to take advantage of the powerful features of Clickfunnels while still keeping your website.
But, here’s the problem!

Clickfunnels is not updated for the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It’s unclear when they will update their plugin.
This is a problem because it means that if you’re using the plugin on a recent version, you’re at risk of running into compatibility issues.
Even worse, if a security vulnerability is discovered in an older version of WordPress, Clickfunnels may not be able to protect you.
So, while Clickfunnels may be a great tool for building landing pages, I wouldn’t recommend using their plugin if you’re running WordPress.
11. Website Builder
Some people asked me:
“Can you build a website in Clickfunnels?”
“Can I use ClickFunnels as a blog?”
or Can you build a full website on ClickFunnels?”
The short answer is yes, and you can use Clickfunnels to build your website, including blog posts. Youtube is your friend and many tutorials right here.
However, despite what some people may tell you, I personally recommend you don’t do this!
Clickfunnels worked great to build the sales process, optimize customer journey help you convert visitors to leads, and sell products more effectively. You can also use it to build an individual landing page. But if you plan to create a traditional website with blog posts then WordPress is your friend.
From my experience, creating blog posts on Clickfunnels is more complicated, time-consuming, and not effective.
Here are some reasons:
Not SEO friendly:
There are no ways to create and submit a sitemap or robot.txt files in Clickfunnels. However, it’s straightforward to do if you’re using WordPress. Just download the Yoast SEO or Rankmath plugin and everything will be taken care of with a few clicks.
The page Clickfunnels is slower than other web blogs
SEO features are limited (ie add schema, rich snippets, breadcrumbs, etc)
Create blog posts more complicated:
Your blog posts created by Clickfunnels look like an individual page but are designed as a blog. Instead of dividing into a related category, it’s staking in one place. So it’s hard to manage.
Typically, when you publish a new post, it’s automatically available on top of the recent post section on your home page or blog page. But in Clickfunnels you must visit and update that page manually.
Verdict: Please don’t and never use Clickfunnels to create a blog post website. Or you may waste your time and effort.

In simple words, follow-up funnels give you the ability to send messages and sequences to your subscribers. So you can build a relationship and convert them into customers.
Although Actionetics allows you to create, schedule, and deliver your email easily. However, it’s much more than an email auto-responder.
Of course, it’s not fair if you compare Clickfunnels with comprehension email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Active Campaign.
But, Clickfunnels has almost features that normal email tools have.
Plus, what makes Clickfunnels standout is their “Smart List” – It’s like an upgraded version of tagging.
Smart List can automatically add, or remove contacts as they meet filters. For example, you can create a list of people who have an “Action Score” over > 70 in X location and haven’t bought the product Y.
After that, you will create a follow-up campaign that design special sales messages for that group.
Once the email is sent, you can check the stats to see what happen.
But it’s still not all of it. Actionetic also allows you to send subscribers a text through mobile, so you can get more chances to reach them.
2. Clickfunnels Backpack
The backpack is Clickfunnel affiliate tools. This helps you create your own affiliate program for your funnels.
The amount of leverage you get when you build an affiliate program and rely on the efforts of other people is huge. It’s kind of like building a team or hiring people to do these tasks for you.
The best part is you don’t need to pay them for the work. Instead, you pay them commissions based on the sale they made.
With Clickfunnels, you easily launch your affiliate program:

Add commission for the special group you want
Create affiliate dashboard
Above all, what makes Clickfunnels affiliate tools stand out is the “Sticky Cookies” feature. It keeps your affiliates very happy, loyal, and continuously sending traffic your way!

When it comes to customer support, Clickfunnels offer a wide range of support options:

The learning center provides a wealth of resources to help users master the platform, including video tutorials, and articles. Those instructions are straightforward, easy to understand, and, more importantly, highly accurate.
You can also chat and send the ticket for help by clicking on the icon at the bottom right on the Clickfunnels homepage.
It’s convenient and useful.
Now, let’s talk about the drawback of Clickfunnels customer support.
Many people complain that support is very slow to respond. In some cases, it can take several days for a response, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to resolve an issue. Some users have also reported that the support team is often unhelpful and doesn’t seem to understand the product very well.
From my experience, Clickfunnels’ support is great.
All of my issues have been solved really quickly. However, when I read the Clickfunnels review from 3rd party platform, the support team seems to be one of the biggest weaknesses of Clickfunnels.
Anyway, it all depends on personal experience.
If you’re having an issue with your page builder, technical, or something about marketing strategies the best place to post it is in the Clickfunnels group. The group is full of people who are familiar with the Clickfunnels platform and they’ll give you helpful advice.
Your issues will be solved faster.
Finally, if you’re a Platinum user, your account is automatically tagged as a priority customer, which means you’ll get a response faster than others.
This is just one of the many benefits of being a Clickfunnels Platinum user, so if you’re considering upgrading your account, this is definitely something to keep in mind.
Do Clickfunnels Really Work?
The short answer is yes.
ClickFunnels is worth every dollar you spend!
It allows you to create a sales process faster and easily convert more leads into customers.
ClickFunnels is great for promoting specific offers. You can isolate certain deals or promotions they are running and create a funnel for each. You’re’ gonna be using different ad targeting and pixels for certain offers.
To be clear, you don’t need Clickfunnels to make sales funnel. Depending on your need, there are a lot of solutions out there that can help even better.
However, Clickfunnels is a powerful vehicle. It can help you save a lot of time and effort in converting your idea into reality.
The platform is just a platform and Clickfunnels is just a tool.

Thrive Suite is cheaper than Clickfunnels but can help you turn your current website into a money machine. The best part? You still control everything on your server.
Instapage: Even though this tool is more expensive than Clickfunnels and is not focused on creating a robust sales funnel. But, it gives you a unique feature to help your landing page convert better.

Systeme’s free version allows you to create unlimited blog posts and unlimited emails for up to 2000 contacts.
Take a look at Systeme’s price plans. The highest price plan only costs you $97/month for unlimited everything, while Clickfunnels allows you to build 20 funnels, and 100 landing pages, and not provided email marketing tools at the same level.
2. Thrive Suite - Valuable for WordPress Users
Price: $299/Year and used on up to 5 websites
As a business owner, you want to have as much control over your website as possible. You don’t want to have to rely on someone else to make changes or updates – you want to be able to do it yourself.
That’s why WordPress is a popular business platform because it’s easy to use and customize. Thrive Suite includes various plugins that allow you to create a thriving online business.
Of course, you can be creating sales funnels with it.
Thrive Architect allows you to build any landing page you want (Opt-in pages, sales pages, checkout pages, Thank you pages, etc)
The drawback of Thrive Suite is that you should connect them with other email marketing tools to run your marketing campaign. Plus, impossible to create one click-upsell. So if you would like to generate leads or sell products Thrive Suite can help. But if you want to create a robust sales funnel Clickfunnels is better.
3. Instapage - Great for conversion rate

Even though Instapage is more expensive than Clickfunnels, what makes Instapage stand out from other landing page builders on the market is that they provide a unique feature that could help you improve your conversion rate.
With Instapage, you can easily personalize your landing pages for each visitor by using UTM parameters. In a simple word, it allows you to deliver the right message to the right audience based on visitor data like keywords, firmographics, and demographics.

I hope you enjoy my Clickfunnels review. Overall, Clickfunnels is still a great tool, at least in terms of funnel building. Like other marketing tools, you need a learning curve to use this tool smoothly.
Clickfunnels gives you everything you need to create high-converting sales funnels, but it doesn’t mean that you could be successful overnight. Many people read Dotcom Secrets book; they loved the information and tried using Clickfunnels features to build sales funnels, but when they get nowhere with it, they think that the program is a scam because nothing has happened yet!
Again, Clickfunnels is just a tool, you might be don’t like Clickfunnels pages, the interface, how Clickfunnels work, or the price of them. You can switch to the other tool alternative to Clickfunnels, such as Systeme.io, Thrive Suite, or Leadpages.
But, if your sales funnel doesn’t work, the problem is from your copywriting, sales messages, or offers. It isn’t from software.
